Dermatology Problems For Adults
There are many different types of skin disorders. Commonly located on the face, neck, shoulders, chest, and upper back. Breakouts on the skin composed of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, or deep, painful cysts and nodules, May leave scars or darken the skin if untreated.

Pediatric Dermatology
Cares for children (newborns through adolescents) with skin disorders. Diagnose a wide variety of skin disorders including birthmarks (vascular and pigmented), skin infections, dermatitis (atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis), melanocytic nevi (moles), Geno dermatoses (inherited skin disorders), acneiform eruptions and collagen vascular disorders

Geriatric Dermatology
Geriatric dermatoses are one of the most common reasons for day-to-day consultation in the elderly. Over the past few years, understanding of the pathophysiology of skin changes in the geriatric age group has improved and has paved the way for better therapeutic options. There are only a few studies conducted in India about the geriatric dermatoses.

Dermatological Surgery
Our dermatologists perform surgical procedures ranging from removal of suspicious lesions to the definitive treatment of skin cancers. In addition, we have the capability to remove some skin lesions with simple in-office procedures. Most importantly, our dermatologists are specifically trained in diagnosing skin conditions in order to determine the most appropriate method of treatment, thus ensuring the most optimal outcome.

Cosmetic Dermatology Problems
Cosmetic dermatology refers to a variety of treatments that are used to improve the appearance of the skin, particularly regarding conditions that are not life-threatening. Aging is inevitable, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do something about it; there are treatments that can minimize or even reverse the effect of aging on your skin. Pigmentation problems can result from scars and birthmarks. A cosmetic dermatologist can treat these issues by using laser therapy.

Scars
While it may seem obvious that you have a scar, it’s important to have a dermatologist examine it before it’s treated. Scars are complex. To treat you safely and effectively, it’s important for the person treating you to know about your health and the type of scar you have. Different types of scars require different treatment. Your age and how long you’ve had the scar may also affect the types of treatment that will work best for you

Dermatological Emergencies
Dermatologic emergencies are rare but often progress quickly and lead to significant morbidity and mortality. Most dermatologic emergencies result from an allergic reaction or infection, but some primary skin diseases can also become life-threatening. Prompt diagnosis is essential to improve outcomes, but it can be challenging because these conditions have multiple etiologies and variable presentations, some of which mimic innocuous skin disorders.

Sexually Transmitted Disease
Specialists for skin and sexually transmitted diseases treat disorders of the skin, the mucous membranes near the skin, the appendages of the skin, sexually transmitted diseases and vascular diseases such as varicose veins. They also initiate preventive or rehabilitative measures.
It is the task of dermatologists to recognize and treat skin and sexually transmitted diseases.

Sex Related Problems
Sexual problems that are psychological in origin, rather than physiological, are called psychosexual disorders. Dermatologists are sometimes consulted for sexual dysfunctions in their routine practice by the patients visiting sexually transmitted infections (STI) clinics because a majority of the patients believe that these problems are caused by dysfunctions in the sex organs, and because people are hesitant to go to sexuality clinics and psychiatrists for such problems.

Psychological Skin Disorders
Skin diseases are precipitated or exacerbated by psychological stress. Patients experience a clear and chronological association between stress and exacerbation. There is no skin condition and everything seen on the skin is self-inflicted. These disorders are always associated with underlying psychopathology and are known as stereotypes of psychodermatological diseases.

Leprosy
Leprosy is a chronic, progressive bacterial infection caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae.
Leprosy produces skin ulcers, nerve damage, and muscle weakness. If it isn’t treated, it can cause severe disfigurement and significant disability. Leprosy is one of the oldest diseases in recorded history.

Skin Biopsy
Skin biopsy is a diagnostic procedure which involves taking a small tissue sample from the skin and examining it carefully under a microscope to evaluate various skin problems and medical condition of the person. The doctor advises a skin biopsy in order to check for certain skin diseases and conditions. There are various types of skin biopsies like Shave biopsy, Punch biopsy and Excisional biopsy.
